Building project - Update
Minister of Education Ms Mary Hanafin has announced in May 2006 that Carrakennedy N. S. has been approved to go to tender and construction over the next 12 months, This new 3 classroomed school will be built on a site adjacent to the school. We have been fortunate to secure a large P.E. hall as one of the main features of the building. This marks a watershed in the history of the school because we celebrate our Centenary this year. The children, parents, teachers and the wider community are overjoyed by this announcement.
